Chair of Governors
I have a degree in English Literature from the University of London. After working as a VAT specialist in the accountancy profession, including several years at Deloitte, my husband and I set up our own niche tax recruitment business in 2003.
I spend a lot of my time on school governance! I have been chair of governors at Holmes Chapel Primary School for 8 years and am very proud that the board was runner up in the 2017 NGA Awards for Outstanding Governance. I am a National Leader of Governance and an Inspiring Governance mentor and I have recently been appointed by Cheshire East to chair Bridgemere CE Primary School.
I have three children; Beth is now studying English Literature and Creative Writing at Warwick University; Alex studies Economics at Durham and Harry is in Year 11.
